
Today was a laid back yet productive day. I spent a few hours in the office, wrote a paper, did some of my assigned reading, went to class, and worked out. I already feel like I haven't been doing so well (since I didn't work out while I was out of town). No matter what, though, I have to remind myself that the number on the scale does not define who I am, and as long as I keep focused on my goal, I have nothing to worry about.
Breakfast
- Oatmeal with Cinnamon
Snack
- Apple
Pre-Workout Meal
- Avocado and Goat Cheese on Toast (see recipe here)
- I used 1 Avocado, about 1 oz of Goat Cheese, and a Whole Wheat Pita instead of Bread
Workout
- 8 min on Stair Stepper
- 1 min run, 2 min walk (5x)
- 90 Jumping Jacks
- 20 Tricep Dips
- 10 Sit-Ups
- 30 Second Plank (4x)
- 40 Crunches
- 10 Oblique Crunches (each side)
- 20 Standing Calf Raises
Post-Workout Meal
- Small Portion of Shrimp Risotto
My Night
- I had a few vodka drinks and a beer, but it was all for a good cause - A Gala :) Had a wonderful time, I don't feel guilty at all!
