Last night, my car tire went completely flat as I tried to drive away from my work. Turns out someone deliberately put a rock in the air cap... so that the second I drove away, it'd go flat. A bit scary? I think so. Good news is that I'm alive, and hoping that it doesn't happen again.
I worked all day today, but surprisingly had a lot of energy by the time I got home after going grocery shopping (finally!). I cranked up some music, organized all of my food, pre-made some meals, and overall felt very productive (of course at the cost of studying). I plan to devote all tomorrow to studying... *fingers crossed*
A couple days ago, I bought another mason jar (now I have two!). I pre-made 2 salads, ready to go for work or if I'm just on the run. I'm excited because this new jar is wide-mouthed, and so it looks as though it'll be a lot easier to eat from. Notice that, unlike many, I don't add the salad dressing at the bottom. Personally, I just find it easier to take the dressing with me so that I don't add too little or too much (or in case I accidentally tip it over). In these salads, I layered tomato, cucumber, goat cheese, red onion, sprouts, purple cabbage, corn, and romaine. I bought the purple cabbage on a whim, so hopefully I like it! Pretty, huh?

"What Went Well" Exercise
1. I went grocery shopping and prepared some healthy meals for the next few days.
- Why did this happen? Despite the opportunity to go out and drink, I figured it was best if I actually took the time to shop. I actively try to get only fruits, vegetables, and dairy, and this help me eat better, especially if its already prepared.
2. I got a little bit of studying done at work.
- Why did this happen? I could've just chilled with my colleagues, but instead on a break I went to go buy some flash cards and during the down times, I wrote a few out.
3. I had time to laugh a bit with my friends at work, which helped lighten the slightly blah mood I was in.
- Why did this happen? I allowed myself to open up to the people at work, and now I consider most of them my good friends. We come up with the most ridiculous stuff to talk about, and it entertains us for hours. Its an added bonus that we get paid for it :)
