Studying My Life Away ~ Daily Log 2/10

My day consisted of waking up, studying, eating, and more studying. I have my last midterm tomorrow, and its with a teacher I really don't like... I'm just hoping that all of the effort I've put in today pays off. I'll be done with my midterm by 10:30 am tomorrow, and only have 1 class later in the day, so I'm hoping to make the most of it (work out, eat well, maybe hang with friends and see a movie).

Breakfast

  • Liberte Greek Yogurt

Lunch

  • Leftover Crab

Dinner

  • White Chicken Chili I had made in the Crockpot. It turned out alright, but it could've used more flavor and more vegetables. I added a little bit of reduced fat cheese and 1/2 a small avocado.

Snack

  • Orange

"What Went Well" Exercise
1. I got a lot of studying done, and even did an extra step of writing out the flashcards that I wasn't too sure of.

  • Why did this happen?  I had started hand-writing some flashcards at work yesterday, and thinking back on my cognitive psych class, I remembered that physically writing and drawing connections and repetition aids memory.

2.  I ate well.

  • Why did this happen? I prepared healthy meals in advance.

3. I dyed my hair.

  • Why did this happen? I needed a study break, and my hair very badly needed a dye job.  Killed 2 birds with 1 stone.
