Contentment ~ Daily Log 2/21

I love Thursdays.  I get up and go to office for a couple of hours, where I generally just get some homework out of the way.  After that, I have a few hours to continue homework or go and workout.  I generally use this time to finish up an article for my 4pm class, which is a meeting with the website I write for.  After this meeting, I am free for the rest of the day.  Today, I will be going to hang out with my ex-roomie who I absolutely adore for Thirsty Thursday. Okay, drinking beer isn't the healthiest thing I could be doing, but I am in my last few months of university and my goodness, I am going to enjoy every moment I can with the people I love.


Its also a beautiful day today, my garden looks amazing and my seedlings are starting to grow.  I think its so rewarding to watch your plants grow.

Today is a good day.  I can't really say why, but I have been overcome with a feeling of contentment. I'm happy. I accept myself for who I am, but I can't wait to continually improve myself.  I'm not the thinnest or most fit person in the world, but I have some amazing people in my life who truly love me.  I will get to my goal with time, and anyone who doesn't like who I am now doesn't deserve to have me in their life anyways :)

Breakfast
  • Pasta with Spinach, Mushroom, Chicken, Zucchini
    • Small portion of leftovers from yesterday.  I should probably mention I'm not really a breakfast fan, so its not unusual for me to have dinner type food for breakfast!
Snack
  • Black Cherry Greek Yogurt with Granola
  • Apple
  • String Cheese
Exercise 
  • 2 min power walk, 1 min run (7x)
  • 80 jumping jacks
Lunch 
  • Small portion of Lasagna
Dinner
  • 1/2 Burrito
Water Intake
  • 2 cups of coffee
  • 7 cups of water
